Your first appointment will last up to 1 hour and will involve a thorough examination to diagnose your problem followed by an initial treatment. We will then agree a treatment plan with you. How long your rehabilitation takes varies with each person and each condition. However, as part of your treatment plan you will be shown exercises that you can perform at home to help your recovery and reduce the amount of treatment you need.

At Finchley Physiotherapy we try to ensure our patients have a good understanding of their problem which will give them the confidence and motivation to help correct it without the need for long term treatment. We also believe in empowering our patients with the skills to enable them to become more independent in their everyday management, and educating them so that they have the necessary tools to self-manage in the future.
